Upright Christian Parenting - Treehouse Storyteller Podcast

Needing Christian Parenting advice? Help raising kids with biblical values? Looking for a faith-based parenting podcast?...

Meet me in the Treehouse for God shaped storytelling.

Treehouse Storyteller is where we can come together as messy parents seeking Jesus together and raising kids to love Him too. If you aren’t scared of addressing cultural issues head-on and finding a deeper understanding of the Biblical world view to share with your children, then you have come to the right place.

Hannah is not afraid to be transparent and tell all of the juicy details, if that means you will be inspired to live more boldly for God. Our children are being chased by the world, and it is our job to be well equipped and know how to not only lead our flock, but successfully send our arrows out into the world one day to build the Kingdom.

Hannah is a children’s book author, illustrator, and long-time photographer. She is a mother of 3 kiddos and has a hobby farm in the Colorado Foothills. She passionately shares real life moments of Her and her husband raising their family to value the outdoors, animals, camping, mountain life, nature, the arts, and especially their love for Jesus.

As the Founder of Treehouse Storyteller Podcast and Hannah Pierrou Photography, author/illustrator of the Farm to Film collection, Hannah speaks boldly about motherhood, juggling work and home life, and most importantly living a life for Jesus.

So snuggle up by the fire, or soak up the sunshine with those earbuds in, and meet Hannah in the treehouse for some biblical storytelling!

In this powerful episode of Upright Christian Parenting, Hannah sits down with Elizabeth Urbanowicz, founder of Foundation Worldview, to tackle one of the most urgent topics facing Christian families today: teaching our kids a biblical worldview and God’s good design for gender and sexuality—starting as young as age 4.
If you’ve ever wondered:✅ When is the right time to start talking to my kids about God’s design for sexuality?✅ How do I explain cultural issues like gender identity, marriage, and friendship in age‑appropriate, biblical language?✅ Why is it vital to equip our kids NOW before the world does?
…this episode will equip and encourage you! Elizabeth shares her journey from elementary educator to creator of the God’s Good Design curriculum, a video‑based discipleship tool for parents to confidently teach children ages 4–8 about God’s intentional design, biblical identity, and how to think critically in a world full of confusing messages.
We also talk about:✨ Practical tips for starting these conversations early—without awkwardness.✨ How churches can partner with parents rather than replace them.✨ Why corporate worship with your kids matters more than you think.

Bible References:
Galatians 6:9 ‘…and let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart.’
Psalm 1:2-3 (NIV) 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,    and who meditates on his law day and night.3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,    which yields its fruit in seasonand whose leaf does not wither—    whatever they do prospers.
John 15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
